About Our Staff
Abbotsford Medical Practice is a group of GPs and other health professionals dedicated to providing primary health care services of excellence.
We believe this is best achieved by adopting a multi-disciplinary approach, utilizing the skills and expertise of a diverse range of practitioners (including doctors, nurses, psychologists and others). Working together as a team ensures an effective sharing of knowledge, optimizing patient care.
MEET OUR DOCTORS
The Doctors at Abbotsford Medical Practice share the common goal of providing the highest quality medical care to all of our patients. Each doctor is committed to continuing professional development through ongoing medical education, and is vocationally registered with the Royal Australian College of General Practice .
MEET OUR NURSES
Our practice nurses bring a high level of experience, professionalism, and caring to their work at Abbotsford Medical Practice. They are an integral part of our medical team, assisting our doctors in delivering high quality healthcare, providing invaluable services such as immunisation, wound management, counselling, health education and advice.
MEET OUR ALLIED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS
Our allied health professionals are independent practitioners who bring multi-disciplinary skills to complement and enhance our medical services. Each practitioner is a highly qualified, experienced professional with expertise in their chosen field.
MEET OUR SPECIALISTS
Our specialist medical consultants are experienced practitioners, experts in their chosen field. Dr Jay Bains, consultant psychiatrist and Dr Caroline Williams, consultant paediatrician each work at our practice one day a week.
MEET OUR SUPPORT TEAM
The members of our administration and reception team are key to the efficient running of the practice, and are held in high regard by our health practitioners.
