About our Lifestyle Programs


Abbotsford Medical Practice provides several Lifestyle Programs to restore natural health and well-being.

Programs include: 
  • Weight management / Healthy eating and exercise.
  • Smoking cessation
  • Pain management / Musculoskeletal rebalancing
  • Stress management
  • Mind Over Matter - weight loss and natural health restoration program
Mind Over Matter is a program developed by Dr Steley, which involves a period of nutritionally and emotionally supported fasting. Benefits include weight loss, reduced blood pressure, prevention of diabetes and improvement of overall well-being.

After an initial medical consultation, the program is supervised by a registered nurse in conjunction with your GP.

Visits are usually weekly, most commonly for 6 to 12 week, with the long-term goal of maintaining healthy eating and exercise.
