A $20 Out of Pocket cost will be associated with the following. Wound dressings and the use of medical consumables supplied by the practice Own vaccines brought in and administered by our nurse. Phone consultation /Triage with the nurse that doesn't result in you being seen by a doctor. Please note that Medicare does not remunerate the practice for wound dressing supplies or phone advise given from our nurses, however does cover the cost of the doctor's consultation time. The practice cannot absorb the cost of these if we are to continue to provide this as a part of our quality health care services.

We want to encourage all our patients to seek the appropriate medical care in a way that is convenient and safe for the community. The introduction to telehealth has ensured that your relationship with your GP can continue. If you are experiencing any flu like symptoms, You will be asked to book in with your GP for a telephone consult. As of 1st October 2020, Telehealth Consultations will no longer be routinely bulk-billed for all patients. Medicare patients with a full pension card will continued to be bulk billed for telehealth consultations, provided they have attended the clinic for a Face-to-Face Appointment in the last 12 months. If you are unsure about this please call our receptionists on 97137988 to check. A private fee will apply for all other telehealth consultations. After the Medicare Rebate, patients will be out of pocket between $20-$35. For New patients and existing patents that haven't been seen Face-to-Face in the last 12 months an $80 non-rebatable fee will apply. Payment will be collected after the consultation, via a secure payment request we send from Hotdoc, or over the phone. Medicare rebates will be processed online to save you hassle.
